Red chutney

 



Ingredients 

Coconut grated -  1/2 cup

2 big onions 

4-5 dry red Chilli 

Curry leaves

Coriander leaves

Tamarind small piece

Ginger small piece

Water - 1/4 cup

Salt 

Oil

Mustard seeds 1 teaspoon 

Red chilly powder 2 teaspoon


In a pan heat onions and dry red Chilliies until it turns brown.  Do not add oil in it. Keep it in the grinder. In the grinder add ginger, tamarind, salt, curryleaves,  coriander leaves, grated coconut,  salt  and red Chilli powder. Add some water and grind it to medium thick paste. Now heat another deep pan. Add oil and splutter Mustard seeds. Add the paste to this and finally garnish it with some more curry leaves and Coriander leaves. Do not cook it. Just leave it for 1 minute in the pan and  turn off the flame.
