Egg Sandwich

Ingredients

Sandwich bread - 8 slices
Egg - 2
Onion - 1
Tomato - 1
Capsicum - 1/2
Pepper powder  - 1 teaspoon
Coriander  leaves
Salt
Ghee
Cheese slices - 2
Butter  - 50 grams





Add 2 eggs in a bowl and beat it well. Add  finely chopped onion, tomato. Pepper powder, salt and capsicum  to this. Mix it well. Heat a pan, add ghee to it .  Once the pan is hot, pour beaten egg along with all the ingredients. Let it cook in  low flame for 2 minutes. Flip it so that both the sides are well cooked.  Turn off the flame and separate the egg in a different vessel. Cut it to four pieces. Keep it aside.





Again heat the pan. Add ghee on top. Once it is hot, keep all the four sandwich slices. On top of it add the egg slice, along with two small pieces of butter and cheese spread on top of it. Press it with a masher and keep the remaining slices on top of it.  Press  the sandwich using a masher or spoon . Flip it and cook both the sides until it turns golden brown in color. You can try this using sandwich maker as well. Bread sandwich takes just  10 to 15 minutes and an  easy recipe  for evening snack.  

Cauliflower Biryani

Ingredients

 Biryani rice - 2 cups
 Water - 4 cups
 Cauliflower - 1/2
 Onion - 1
 Tomatoes  - 2
 Green chilli - 2
 Ginger garlic paste - 1 spoon
 Curry leaves
 Coriander leaves
 Mint leaves
 Coriander powder - 1 tespoon
Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoon
Chilly powder - 1 teaspoon
Pepper powder - 1 teaspoon
Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
Spices powder  - 1 teaspoons
Curd - 1 tablespoon
Salt
Oil


To garnish

Onion  - 1
Cashew  - 50 grams
Rasins  - 50 grams

In a deep pan,  heat 2 tablespoon of oil. Once oil is hot, add finely chopped onions. Saute it until it turns golden brown color. Add sliced tomato's,  ginger garlic paste , green chillies and all the fresh leaves like coriander, mint and curry leaves.  Add salt per taste. Saute it for two minutes. Now add all the masala powder. Red chilly, coriander, turmeric, garam masala , pepper powder and spices powder. Saute it until the raw smell goes off. Finally add curd and saute it for a minute. 



Soak rice in 4 cups of water for 10 minutes. Add this rice in the pan and mix it well with masala. Cover the lid and let it cook in medium to low flame for 15 to 20 minutes. I used 2 cups of water for one rice since the Biryani was prepared in pan and not in cooker. If you are using cooker, I would suggest to measure and take 1.5 cup of water for 1 cup of rice.


Fry onion separate until it becomes dark brown and add cashews and black raisins to this. Once it turns brown color . Turn off the flame and add it on top of the rice before serving. Keep stirring the rice so that it won't stick to the bottom of the pan. This is an easy  recipe to try. Happy Cooking!

Potato Cheese balls

Ingredients


Potatoes -2
Coriander leaves
Salt
Pepper powder - 1 tablespoon
Greenchilly - 1
Cheese - 150 grams
Oil - 1 cup7


Hello all, sorry for not posting anything here for sometime. The reason to post this recipe is when I got to see few pics of this snack which i have saved in gallery few months back :) . So here we go with the recipe. Not sure how I got the recipe.. from YouTube I guess.. recipe courtesy goes to YouTube.  

First cook potatoes in a cooker with 1teaspoon of salt  and 1/4 cup of water. Pressure cook it for three whistles.  Mash the potatoes well and keep it aside. In a separate bowl, mix salt, pepper, green chilly, finely cut cheese and chopped  coriander leaves. Keep this mixture separate. Now make round balls using mashed potatoes. Keep one table spoon of the above mixture in the centre of this potato ball and cover all the sides. So that the mixture inside should not  come out while  cooking. Now heat a pan. Add 1 cup of oil  in it. Once the pan is really hot, slowly put these potato  cheese balls and cook both the sides  until it turns  golden brown in color.

Paneer sandwich

Ingredients

Paneer - 100 grams
Onion  - 1 ( small or medium)
Capsicum - 1/2
Pepper powder  - 1/4 teaspoon
Spices powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Green chilly  - 1
Ginger garlic paste  - 2 teaspoon
Red chilly powder  - 1/2 teaspoon
Garam masala  - 1/2 teaspoon
Tomato  sauce  - 1 tablespoon
Brown bread - 1 pack
Salt
Oil

In a pan, add one tablespoon of oil. Now add finely chopped onion.  Saute it well in low to medium flame until it turns to light  brown in color. Add finely chopped  green chilly and capsicum. Saute it again for two minutes. Add red chilly powder, garam masala,  pepper powder,  spices  powder  and salt.  Saute it for a minute. Finally  add scrambled paneer and tomato  sauce.  Cook it for  a minute. Keep this filling separate.
